Location: Kansas and Missouri markets
Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday)
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We provide pharmacy services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) throughout the United States.
Founded in 2007, Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is “America’s IDD Pharmacy” with a 100% focus on servicing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
This is accomplished by a talented team of over 400 dedicated associates operating from 9 pharmacy locations in Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, South Carolina, Georgia, Kansas, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
Our services are available in 23 states, and we service over 22,000 individuals across 500 distinct locations nationwide.
Our services originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local Tarrytown (Austin, TX) community since 1941.
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is private equity backed.
We are seeking an Account Manager to maintain existing Heartland Home Care / Tarrytown Expocare client relationships for services provided from our Wichita and Lawrence, Kansas pharmacy locations.
This includes agencies across Kansas and Missouri.
Account Managers serve as a liaison between our pharmacy operations and the agencies (clients) we serve to ensure a consistency of services, troubleshoot concerns, provide trainings, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
The Account Manager may also be involved in client onboarding to enhance the collaboration between client, sales, and the pharmacy team, and support client needs through the onboarding process.
The ideal candidate values strong / trusted relationships with the IDD clients we serve, has strong industry and/or regulatory knowledge in the Group Home/Residential and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) settings, ability to develop a strong understanding and situational application of Tarrytown Expocare’s operational capabilities, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
This position is field based and approximately 80% travel.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a trusted relationship with assigned accounts and agency staff.
Visit client locations throughout the Pharmacy service area and provide pharmacy service audits and training in a collaborative and supportive manner.
Document findings in pharmacy CRM tool, submit Daily Reports via email to designated pharmacy contacts.
Understands the services and scope of the pharmacy to effectively communicate with the account about pharmacy processes.
Resolve complaints and grievances related to the pharmacy services in conjunction with the pharmacy team.
Assist in educating clients on the pharmacy’s processes.
Be an innovative liaison by discussing ideas with pharmacy staff on how to effectively meet the demands of our consumers.
Participates and actively engages in professional meetings, conferences, and other sponsored events as may be requested.
Manage complex client concerns and requests in a professional manner to ensure appropriate resolution and adequate follow- up.
Required Qualifications:
Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) or experience in a related field or equivalent years of experience or minimum 3 years as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP)
Working knowledge and/or ability to learn pharmacy applications such as FrameWorkLTC, ECM, or DocuTrack preferred
Familiarity with electronic and paper medication administration records (MARs)
Reliable transportation and current (clean) Driver’s License.
Frequent travel is required.
Must have basic computer proficiency including email and other programs (i.
e Microsoft suite products)
Detailed individual who thrives in a fast-paced situations
Leading a team in a metrics-based environment
Must be proficient in English (reading writing, and verbal communications)
Must have a high school diploma, and college experience is a plus
