*Annuity / Life Insurance Sales & Agent Recruiter – Topeka, KS (in the office M-F, remote is not an option)*
*The Insurance Marketing (IMO) Industry is trending upward right now and our business needs are escalating exponentially.

* Company year-end bonus if Company goals are achieved.
* BCBS Medical health and dental insurance after 60 days of employment – 80/20 plan with 80% paid individual employee premium.
* Monthly Company paid HSA contributions between $100 - $200 after 90 days of employment.
* 401K retirement plan after 12 months of employment – employer match up to 4% * 7 paid holidays * PTO day during birthday month * PTO – (0-3 years) = 15 days per year; accrued at 1.
25 days per month (4+ years) = 20 days per year; accrued at 1.
67 days per month * 4 hours flex time (TMU) per month * Employee anniversary cash based on years of service.
* Employee birthday lunch cash * Holiday cash (Thanksgiving & Christmas) * Employee referral bonus – if referred hire is employed for 90 days ($250 bonus) 180 days ($500 bonus) * Paid bereavement time off for immediate family/friend loss *Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:* * Make outbound calls to recruit prospective licensed insurance agents across the country and identify the dynamics of their business and needs and explain how IAMS can help them improve and grow their business by providing end-to-end sales and case management support.
The end-goal is to get them to contract with IAMS.
* Beyond the provided cold and warm leads lists, must proactively identify, generate and follow-up on leads and prospective agents.
* Must be comfortable with cold calls to potential annuity and life agents to explain the benefits of contracting with IAMS as an end-to-end support & service provider to help them grow their book of business and increase production.
* Work with licensed insurance agents across the country to promote our affiliated life and/or annuity insurance carriers and promote their products.
* Determine which life and/or annuity insurance products may be of interest and provide recommendations on the features & benefits so the agent can make the best decision to meet their clients' needs.
* Educate agents on the life and/or annuity products and marketing programs that IAMS offers.
* Provide sales administration, back-office support and marketing for the sales directors and their agents as needed.
* Utilize software platforms to provide illustrations and product recommendations.
* Enter opportunities in HQ system.
* Assess prescreens & informal applications.
* Assist with sales supply orders.
* Help agents get access to carrier websites.
* Walk agents through the process of completing e-applications and answer any questions they may have (if case managers are not available).
* Coordinate with the Creative Services marketing team on assigned insurance marketing efforts as needed.
* Maintain agent records in IAMS CRM and provide input for the daily 7:45am sales huddle and monthly meetings.
* There is a responsibility of incoming phone coverage with this position; must be comfortable on the phones.
*Qualifications and Requirements:* * High school diploma/GED * Insurance license is a plus but not required.
* Familiarity or experience with IMO's is preferred but not required.
* Exposure or experience with various life and/or annuities insurance products & policies * 3+ years of solid sales, client service & customer acquisition experience * Must be comfortable on the phones making recruiting calls to agents; initiating conversations, asking questions to identify their business needs.
* Must be professional, highly motivated/driven and outgoing.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with little supervision.
* Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills.
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills; ability to interact at all levels including management.
* Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with “follow-up until resolved” mindset.
* Must escalate appropriate issues in a timely fashion.
* Must be detail oriented with accuracy.
* Punctuality & attendance is critical to this position as your department / team members and customers depend on you.
